The Qin-Ba mountainous area represents a significant zone of multicultural convergence in China. Its traditional dwellings function not only as everyday living spaces but also as living cultural heritage embodying regional history and collective memory. Taking traditional residences in the Qin-Ba mountains as the research object, this study adopts design-oriented analytical approaches to examine their construction techniques and aesthetic culture. The analysis focuses on material selection, structural systems, and construction methods, while further exploring spatial organization, aesthetic concepts, and decorative craftsmanship. By revealing the technical logic and cultural meanings embedded in these vernacular dwellings, this study aims to provide academic reference for the preservation of traditional building techniques and the sustainable development of regional architectural culture.
